This past week, AMP3 Public Relations celebrated the launch of our client Moschino’s latest collection, Moschino x Mollino, with shopping events in both NYC & LA. The events took place at the SoHo store in NYC on July 25th and the West Hollywood location on July 28th.
The Mollino collection is inspired by archived erotic photographs taken by famed Italian architect, furniture designer and photographer, Carlo Mollino, which were discovered after his death in 1973. Each photograph was carefully composed using costumes, furniture and backdrops reflecting Mollino’s refined aesthetic.
New Mollino pieces from the luxury Italian fashion house include elegant printed dresses, chic blazers, bags, and much more. Designed by Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott, the collection uses materials including velvet & chiffon, and features a color palette primarily composed of yellows, blues, greens, and blacks (the same color palette as the original Mollino photographs, which are discreetly printed directly onto the garments). The whole Mollino collection embodies a very different aesthetic from Moschino’s usual edgy and bold looks, making it an exciting new addition to the fashion house.
Each VIP guest, in both NYC & LA, was greeted with a glass of champagne and gifted a mystery gift card upon arrival, which could be used at checkout to reveal a surprise discount ranging from $50-$500. Models also circulated the floor wearing the new Mollino designs, and a DJ spun today’s top hits.
We’re so excited to have been a part of the launch this new collection in-store and to have planned these events! To find out more information or to shop the collection, check out Moschino’s website.
