Kathleen Lights is known for her large Youtube following of over 3.5 million subscribers. Anticipation for the launch of her nail polish collection grew as Kathleen released updates on the development of the brand via her YouTube channel. The day of the launch there was an overload of Tweets and Instagram posts from subscribers who wanted to make sure they were one of the first people to receive the polish. The hype around KL Polish is not only because of the beloved founder, Kathleen, but also for what the brand stands for. KL prides itself on being affordable, environmentally conscious, and inclusive. Kathleen wants consumers to feel safe and confident while wearing KL and has tested numerous polish brands to ensure that the formula goes above and beyond the standards of today. Because of this, she is sensitive to the difficulty many consumers face when trying to pick colors that complement their skin. Kathleen combats this problem by designing shades the complement every tone while producing more than just the basic colors.
