Initially, goodburger came to AMP3 PR with a request to conceptualize, implement, and manage an ongoing social media & online campaign for their 6 Manhattan-based locations. We started out by working to grow active Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare followings as well as build their online visibility in the food & deal blogger community. Having been around for 5 years, our challenge was to create newsworthy content to keep the growing social media communities engaged as well gain new interest from the online and blogger communities.
Eventually our work with goodburger grew to encompass general promotions and event planning for the restaurants as well. We utilized the social media communities that we grew as a place to publicize monthly promotions and news, online giveaways and deals, original video content, and original goodburger content. We also created a goodburger blog and goodburger monthly newsletter, both filled with original content and special promotions designed for their readership. On the events side, we began running in-store promotional events including $1 burger days, $2 shake days, and a 1st birthday party for the youngest location, which lead to customer line-ups that spanned entire city blocks.
