The Event

The curtains have fallen on the much-anticipated Trinchero Napa Valley Launch Event, and what a day it was! Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, the event occurred on February 13th, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Here’s a recap of the highlights from this unforgettable event.

As our California based influencers and media began to arrive, they were welcomed by AMP3 PR at the beautiful entrance of the Tasting Room. This event celebrated the launch of Trinchero Napa Valley’s six new wines to their portfolio, and shared the rich history of how the winery came to be!

The event featured a welcome area for guests where they were greeted with a Vermouth spritz and a presentation of the event’s offerings. 

Wine Tasting Rooms:

Guests made their way through the tasting room, which had nods to Italy and the NYC chapter Mario had as a bartender. In one room, guests were able to explore the consumer tasting experience.

To start their experience, charcuterie offerings were provided to pair with the Vermouth spritz. In the other room, the All the Hats theme came to life with a custom hat bar done by The Hattery of Sonoma County. Two of the six new wines are named All the Hats (Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc), honoring the humble beginnings of founders Mary and Mario Trinchero. When they moved from NYC to Napa to start their winery, they had to wear all the hats and work tirelessly to make their dreams a reality. In that spirit, guests had the opportunity to witness the artistry of milliners creating beautiful hats, adding a touch of surprise to the event.

The flexibility of the event allowed attendees to explore at their own pace, ensuring everyone could savor the moment.

Each room offered a unique ambiance, sharing a different story from the family’s rich history.

The tasting experience unfolded in two distinct themes:

Family: A deep dive into the heart of Trinchero’s rich family history.

Manhattan: A taste of the family’s city roots with Traces of Manhattan and Central Park West, symbolizing the pathway into Manhattan and Central Park. 

Meet Landon:

The full tasting was led by none other than the brand’s esteemed Winemaker, Landon Donley. Guests had the chance to meet the Winemaker and hear about the new portfolio while they tasted each one. Landon engaged with attendees, answering questions and sharing his insights through a tasting and presentation.

All the Hats Cabernet Sauvignon

Named for founder Mario Trinchero and part of our All the Hats Collection, this wine is a tribute to Mario’s perseverance and his signature style.

All the Hats Sauvignon Blanc

This wine honors Mary’s heart for her family and dedication to her work, which showed through in a lifetime of building Trinchero from the ground up.

Sisters-In-Law Chardonnay

This wine symbolizes the beautiful synergy of Vera Trinchero Torres & Evalyn Trinchero, a dynamic duo, and best friends brought together as sisters-in law.

Central Park West Cabernet Sauvignon

This sophisticated wine pays tribute to Central Park West, an iconic district in New York City and home to Mario & Mary Trinchero in the 1940s.

Traces of Manhattan Red Blend

As a nod to the imprint that Manhattan had on the Trincheros, this wine showcases a diverse and beautiful blending – the hallmark of New York City – bursting with layers of personality, vigor, and character.

Tale of Brothers Cabernet Sauvignon

Just as Trinchero brothers Bob and Roger worked side-by-side to continue a shared legacy, our vineyards on Atlas Peak and Mount Veeder work together to bring different styles to harmony in this complex Cabernet Sauvignon.

Culinary Delights:

Additionally, a live mozzarella demonstration was performed by Chef James. Guests then tried the mozzarella, this was a huge hit and made for some great content.

Small bites that relate to the family’s history were also offered. 

The Results:

As the event came to a close, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. The Trinchero Napa Valley Launch Event was more than a wine tasting; it was a journey through stories, flavors, and artistry. The space and outdoor views were breathtaking, and the wines were perfect! 

The different activities, like having The Hattery of Sonoma County customize hats for guests, made for a unique and unforgettable event unlike any other wine tasting. Media, influencers, and all attendees thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the event and shared that they are excited to return to Trinchero for a full tasting. The winery is a must-visit destination and the perfect addition to your next Napa Valley travel itinerary.
