Grammy-nominated production team Midi Mafia is joining forces with online talent search platform and AMP3 client Blazetrak.com in their search for the next big talent for them to work with in the studio.
The duo, which consists of co-producers Dirty Swift and Bruce Waynne, are known for their work with hit artists like 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly, and John Legend. Throughout the month of February, they are accepting submissions from artists that can sing and/or play instruments through Blazetrak, a web-platform that allows celebrity professionals to recruit talent for upcoming projects in a controlled environment. It’s also a place for aspiring singers, actors, artists, and more to submit their work in return for a guaranteed video response from these professionals, as well as a chance to be discovered.
Midi Mafia will conduct their Blazetrak reviews live on their new weekly web series, “Casa Mafia,” which will be streamed on both Ustream and their official website, themidimafia.com on Tuesdays in March from 7 – 9PM EST. Throughout the course of the webisodes, 15 aspiring artists will be reviewed on the show in which fans can have the opportunity to vote for their favorites on themidimafia.com.
On the fourth episode, Midi Mafia will chose a winner out of the 15 hopefuls, in which the winner will receive a first class flight to Los Angeles to spend the weekend working in the studio with Midi Madia to record and polish one track that will later be featured on both Blazetrak.com and themidimafia.com.
While not every submission will be on their web series, all submissions will receive a guaranteed video response directly from Midi Mafia.
