Calling all bacon, egg, and cheese lovers! NYC’s newest breakfast spot, Effin Egg, has officially opened its doors! This fast-casual dining experience may be new to the Big Apple, but its delicious morning cuisine has made its mark in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Located in the Flatiron District on 23rd and Madison, Effin Egg is serving up a variety of gourmet breakfast sandwiches for carnivores and vegetarians alike. They are also offering A.M. classics like loaded breakfast tacos, burritos & bowls, in addition to some new menu items like the Virgin and Slutty Rainbow Pancakes.
If you’re not much of a morning person have no fear, brunch lovers can scoop up a classic, refreshing bottle of Mexican Coke, indulge in delicious munchies like smothered brisket tater tots, and dirty papas (crinkle french fries with queso, brown gravy, sour cream, and green onions), and tons of other breakfast dishes with a modern twist.
As an NYC-based company, we’re no strangers to grabbing a coffee and breakfast sandwich to enjoy during the commute to work. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Effin’ Egg to spread the word about this amazing new breakfast concept. “We’re so excited to bring New Yorkers a good Effin morning for those like us who love eggs all day long,” said Jeff Martin, Founder & CEO of Effin Egg. “The New York flagship is the first major step in our plans to franchise across the country, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it, it’s effin delish.”
Before the grand opening, we spent time with Jeff Martin, Founder & CEO of Effin Egg to understand his vision behind this modern breakfast spot and experience first hand.
When we walked through the doors, we were immediately captivated by the Instagram-worthy mural and the smell of freshly brewed coffee (which is made in-house). After tasting some of their signature dishes we knew our team would have no trouble attracting a crowd for opening day.
We invited some of our favorite NYC foodies to Effin’ Egg for a first taste and to share their experience with their followers, and let’s just say they were far from disappointed.
If you’re in the NYC area we highly recommend stopping by for a scrumptious breakfast on the go.
