GlenGrant Presents: Marcus Goldhaber w/ The Jon Davis Trio @ Opia
On Monday, April 11th, Singer/Songwriter Marcus Goldhaber and The Jon Davis Trio will be performing two sets at 7:30pm and 9:00pm presented by GlenGrant Scotch at Opia—a restaurant & lounge in the mezzanine of the Renaissance Hotel.
The event is free of charge and will feature live jazz including both standards and original music by Marcus Goldhaber, as well as complimentary scotch tastings courtesy of GlenGrant throughout the evening.
At the show, Marcus will be joined by The Jon Davis Trio, featuring Tom Hubbard (bass) and Marcello Pellitteri (drums).

Food Bloggers LOVE Goodburger
Working under the notion that people like to watch their food being cooked, AMP3 PR client goodburger recently unveiled their new open-cooking concept at the Union Square location in mid February. With plans to carry this concept to the other 5 locations in the coming months, the Maiden Lane restaurant was the next to adopt the new look this week. Additionally, goodburger recently made changes to their burger seasoning and switched to a juicier, red Roma tomato and a leafier green lettuce. Nolcha Fashion Week February 2011 Wraps Up
This year’s Nolcha Fashion Week kicked off with a Pop-Up Showroom at The Empire Hotel Rooftop on Thursday, February 10th.
Nolcha presented 19 independent fashion brands, six of which were eco-friendly/sustainable. Press & Industry personnel were given the option to sign up for a Style Tour of the showroom with celebrity stylist, Jess Zaino of Style Network & Glamour.com, or they could browse the collections at their leisure. The onsite Beauty Oasis offered hair and make-up touch ups by Paul Mitchell and nails and lashes by Kiss. Following the event, guests were invited to a Cocktail Party to celebrate Nolcha Fashion Week.
The events continued on Friday, February 11th with a fashion presentation at 632 on Hudson. The townhouse’s kitchen was turned into a beauty bar while the rest of the space was used to showcase four participating Nolcha designers. Downstairs, the Fashion Director of Saks Fifth Avenue presented new trends on the runway.
Later on Friday night, Nolcha celebrated the launch of their new e-commerce platform: www.GlobalFashionBrands.com, with a launch party at Ava Lounge in the Dream Hotel in Midtown, Manhattan. The website will offer a unique opportunity for independent designers and retailers to create their own digital storefront, and savvy consumers the opportunity to shop locally for international brands.
