In honor of Grandparents Day, Franklin Electronic Publishers (makers of educational toy, the AnyBook Reader) and Grandparents.com have teamed up for a photo contest that aims to reunite grandparents with their grandkids for Thanksgiving!

Franklin and Grandparents.com are asking for grandparents to send in photos of themselves with their grandkids, describing why they have the best grandkids and how they want to be with them for Thanksgiving, 2012. The winner of the contest will receive 2 tickets (economy class, airfare) to spend Thanksgiving with their family, as well as two AnyBook Readers* and $100 spending money for their trip!

The contest is hosted on Grandparents.com throughout the Summer, with the winner being announced on Grandparents Day (September 9th, 2012).

Tyler Hilton joins the AMP3 Client Roster

AMP3 is proud to announce Tyler Hilton as the newest addition to our client roster.

Tyler Hilton is a multi-talented singer/songwriter best known as the actor behind musician character Chris Keller on the CW’s “One Tree Hill”.

A lifelong guitarist who began playing with his father, then in the coffeehouse venues of his native Palm Springs, CA, Tyler released his self-titled debut independently in 2000.

That same year he was scouted for the role of Chris, a guest performer on “One Tree Hill”, and signed to the Warner Brothers label.

With Warner Brothers, he released his second album, the critically acclaimed “The Tracks of Tyler Hilton” (2004), drawing national attention and comparison to contemporaries like Gavin Degraw and Ryan Adams, as well as Elvis Presley, who he was cast to play in the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line” (2005).

On March 31st, in Boston, MA, Hilton kicked off a national tour to promote his long-awaited third album, “Forget the Storm”; which he released independently on April 3; the day of One Tree Hill’s U.S. series finale.

A personal lyricist, the album’s title and many of its tracks are charged with Hilton’s artistic frustrations during the eight-year span between releases; over the course of which; he recorded a fourth album of materiel, “The Storms We Share”, owned but never released by Warner Brothers.

“Forget the Storm” has already been well-received as “worth the wait” by Tyler Hilton’s loyal fanbase, and, if the album’s breakthrough onto the Billboard Top 200 is any indication, it’s a group of fans that’s growing daily.
