Exchange Bar and Grill

On March 15^th, 2010, Exchange Bar & Grill contacted us to tell us they were ready to open the doors of their brand new restaurant in the Gramercy area of Manhattan.  In an effort to appropriately pursue editorial calendars and deadlines with news of the opening, we encouraged the restaurant to hold off on their public launch date so that we could maximize the publicity efforts.

We manufactured the opening date of April 1^st, 2010, and within only 15 days, we were able to garner not only regional media interest, but national and international media coverage as well due to the unique gimmick of the restaurant (their prices are based on demand and broadcast on a giant in-house ticker screen).  We also conceptualized and executed a special Media Opening party on April 8^th, where tastings, reviews, and interviews with the owner were readily available to food, nightlife, lifestyle and finance press and media.

We’ve gone on to spearhead their online initiatives, including the creation and execution of their twitter and facebook accounts, where we routinely come up with exclusive specials, parties, discounts and coupons, used to engage their audience and keep their fans coming back for more.  We conceptualize seasonal and holiday-themed press worthy initiatives designed to garner more press, for example our most recent efforts for their “Cinco de Mayo” specials on May 5^th, 2010.

We work hands on with the owners to ensure that business and sales are always on the up and up.
