Case Study: Magnifico Giornata

Situation

Magnifico Giornata is a collection of essence-infused sparking wines from Bordeaux, France.  AMP3 PR was hired to handle the launch of the collection in the United States, beginning with the official launch in New York City.

Strategy

To introduce the brand, AMP3 conceptualized an exclusive press outreach program, and a private media launch party which we held at Beaumarchais in NYC’s trendy Meatpacking District.  But first, we knew the brand needed a face to convey the sexiness of the product so we helped to secure a celebrity face of the brand, Carrie Keagan, who was then the host of the VH1’s daily morning show, “The Big Morning Buzz”.   With Carrie in place, we executed a campaign photo shoot, built the press materials, worked with their digital and social teams to implement, and began to publicize the launch.  At the kick-off event, media were able to sample each of the different essences, which were expertly paired with signature dishes to help bring out the flavors, and to meet with our celebrity host.  Following the launch, we secured press reviewing the event and the product itself, and we assisted the sales team with venue outreach and solidifying New York-based accounts.
