Last night, the annual CFDA Awards took place at Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom, honoring the most outstanding and innovative American designers. The fashion community came together to recognize the best contributors to womenswear, menswear, accessories, journalism, creativity, philanthropy and lifetime achievement. Honorees include Raf Simons, Chief Creative Officer of Calvin Klein for Designer of the Year and Monse’s Laura Kim and Fernando Garcio for Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. Style icons such Lupita Nyong’o and Priyanka Chopra also accompanied designers in glamorous looks for fashion’s biggest night of the year.
