Top 3 Red Carpet Looks: The Oscars

AMP3 Public RelationsFashion

What. An. Oscars. Night.

We laughed, we cried, we cringed as we sunk deep into our couches with shock, awe and discomfort (I mean, can we believe what happened with the best picture nom?!?).

So yeah, the show may not have ended so flawlessly, but it definitely started that way. The stars shined in red carpet worthy couture. We saw nods to old Hollywood glam, classic silhouettes with modern twists, velvet, tassels, and plunging necklines. Some beauties like Emma Roberts and Olivia Culpo took it a step further and  wore dresses for a cause, proving that this night is about more than just the glitz and the glam. Many of this year’s nominated movies were inspiring and eye opening, and honored great heroes who hadn’t yet had their stories told. It was truly an impressive and wonderful collection of films.

But as much as we could say about the nominated movies, it’s time to talk about our absolute favorite looks of the night. It was nearly impossible for us pick just 3 this year, so we decided to do 3 different categories: Overall Looks, Belted, and Fringe/Ruffles.

Now presenting, hopefully without another Steve Harvey moment, our top looks from the Oscar’s 2017 Red Carpet.

Top 3 Looks

Our top 3 overall looks from the night; including dress, jewels, and beauty.

Top 3 Belted Looks

Belts, belts, and more belts! These stars accessorized their gowns with belts, and we couldn’t get enough of it. It was the perfect

Top 3 Ruffles/Fringe

A little ruffle here, and a little fringe there. These  gowns exuded drama and glamour without being too showy. It was these 3 dresses that had us reminiscing over old hollywood, while also still being modern and fashion forward.
