AMP3PR adds online rose boutique Ode a la Rose to client roster


AMP3PR is excited to announce that we are handling the pr for Ode a la Rose– a hip, new flower delivery service in NYC. Ode a la Rose is putting a new spin on the age old art of sending flowers.

In launching Ode a la Rose, French owners Olivier Plusquellec & Louis Brunet, are looking to bring some Parisian flare to the art of gift giving and decided to focus on the queen of all flowers, the rose. All Ode a la Rose bouquets are designed in their studio, located in NYC’s Flower District, and are beautifully packaged and hand delivered to the recipient. As an added benefit, the sender is also sent a photo of the final bouquet.

Contorno’s Restaurant Hosts a Private Media Tasting Event

On Wednesday, February 22nd, Contorno’s Restaurant celebrated their official grand opening with an invite-only media tasting event at their new space, located at 30 West 31st Street inside the new boutique Holiday Inn Express. Guests enjoyed wine tastings as well as a selection of small plate passed hors d’oeuvres from the menu developed by executive chef David Buico. Popular items included a Hand Rolled Ricotta Gnocchi w/ Wild Boar Bolognese & Shaved Dry Ricotta, Shrimp Al Pancha w/ White Heirloom Beans, Spicy Salami and Tomato Jus, and Grilled Zucchini w/ English Mint and Pine Nut Pesto as well as a Milk Chocolate & Pistachio Tart and a New York Cheese Cake. The regular menu is filled with Rustic Italian style “small plate” options designed to be paired with the extensive wine list. With the lights turned down low and the music playing, a mood was set. The open layout (with seating for 110) allowed guests ample space to explore, mingle and sample wines from around the world. Contorno’s General Manager, Marta Cisneros, and owner, Andrew Impagliazzo, worked the room— mingling with the crowd and making sure that everyone was being taken care of. Contorno’s is certainly the new kid in an interesting neighborhood (i.e. Empire State Building, Herald Square, Korea Town), but Cisneros says, “There’s really nothing like us in this area and we’re looking forward to surprising people with everything that we have to offer— from our wines, to our food to our general ambiance. We want to create relationships with our customers and keep them coming back for more,” and after last night they definitely will be.

This week, Contorno’s also introduced “Swirl Tuesday’s”. Each week GM/Sommelier Marta Cisneros will lead customers in sampling a red or white wine flight from a different region, and help them learn about the wine and how to pair it with different dishes.

AMP3PR is excited to announce that we are handling the pr for Contorno’s Restaurant– a new family owned Rustic Italian ristorante tucked away in the back of the new Boutique Holiday Inn just steps away from the Empire State Building and Herald Square.

The vision for Contorno’s is Sunday Family Dinner, meaning a place for family and friends to come together at the dinner table, enjoy laughter, and many small dishes of traditional, old world Italian style food paired with fine Italian wine.

We will be holding a private opening event and media night on February 22nd.

AMP3 Adds Splash.FM To Client Roster

AMP3PR is excited to announce that we are handling publicity for the launch of a new music discovery platform called Splash.FM.

Splash.FM offers a simple and social way to discover new music based on “who you know” mechanics versus a “what it sounds like” algorithm. Basically, Splash.FM allows you to create a profile, follow your friends, browse for songs, and “Splash” the ones you love. Unlike most music streaming services, the Splash.FM platform began by building a dedicated social layer first, and music streaming capabilities second.
